Rio DE Janiero-Mario Goetze scored a superb extra time goal to lead the Germany to victory over Argentina in the world cup final.

The Bayern Munich striker Goetze penetrated through the Argentine Resistance in the 133th minute of the game and broke Messi's Dream of winning world cup.

The decisive goal of the final came out when the penalties were looming in front of 77,738 fans present in the Maracana Stadium.

Andre Schuerrle broke in from the left wing and passed the ball to Goetze,who scored.

Abdullah's rejection of Election result may lead to bloody Ethnic standoff

Kabul-Afghan presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah rejected the initial report on election results and called it a bloody coup against the people of Afghanistan.This statement may lead to a deadly situation in the country and could result in civil war.

The independent election commission on Monday reported that the Ashraf Ghani has won the second round of the elections that took place on June 14 by securing 56% of the votes while Abdullah secured 43% of the votes.

Abdullah's camp responded angrily and said that the results did not throw all the fraudulent votes."We don't support results that were announced today and we believe this is a coup against people of Afghanistan",said a spokesman for Abdullah's campaign.

In a sharp statement John Kerry from Washington said that all results should be reasonable and there is no space for violence and trouble.

"Any action to take power illegally will cost Afghanistan financial and security support from US and rest of the world",said John Kerry.

Brazil's Neymar out of the World Cup

Fortaleza-The Brazilian forward Neymar Jr. has been ruled out of the world cup after he suffered an injury and fractured his vertebrae in the closing stages of Brazil-Columbia quarter final.

"It is not serious in the sense that it doesn't need surgery,but he will need to immbolize it to recover"the team doctor said,after the player was taken to hospital.

Amir Khan The Boxing Star is Arrested

Amir Khan was arrested on Friday morning for assaulting two teenagers in Bolton. The boxer allegedly attacked on those two teenagers leaving them behind with some minor injuries. Khan was later released on the bail till the end of this month. Khan was moving around with those two boys when he was taunted by them. He replied them in this way. A witness told that the Amir Khan was saying, "don't you know who i am? i am AK."

The victims are suffering from very minor injuries. One is at the cheek and the other is on the leg. Another witness of the incident reported that, "i heard a lot of noise in the car of Amir Khan until it stopped and then i saw him getting out of the car. Again when i looked there, there was a man on the floor when he drove off." 

Amir khan has been released on the bail as there are further inquires which have to be done yet. So no one can speak more on this matter till the time the investigation is not completed.

Ground Operation begins in North Waziristan

Peshawar-After two weeks of heavy bombing and day and night artillery shelling,security forces came out of their heavily guarded camps in Miran Shah,and started ground operation by destroying suspected militant hideouts.

The ISPR in a statement said that fifteen militants were killed in exchange of fire during house to house search in Miranshah,the Capital of North Waziristan.

Security official yesterday said that it was second time during the past one week that the security forces had conducted a ground operation.He said it was a major attacks in which hundreds of soldiers participated,backed by Air planes and Helicopter gunships along with the tanks,he said several military hideouts and sanctuaries in the Miranshah Bazaar were destroyed during the operation.

'We have details of each and every place where the terrorists used to make plans and hide, military official said.However he added that the troops didn't face significant resistance during the daylong operation.

'The start has been taken from Miranshah and after clearing it and adjoining areas the operation will extend to other areas of North Waziristan',he said.Though the tribal Leaders are still insisting that thousands of people still trapped in villages but the army claims that the ground operation has been started after complete evacuation.

According to the ISPR security forces have taken control of the ground tunnels where the explosives were made.He said that the area was cleared after a gun battle with militants the injured three soldiers.

He said that people and militants had left Miranshah before operation and shifted to other areas of Waziristan like Razmak.He also said that those areas would be cleared too.

Some of the people were still there guarding their belongings but they would leave soon a tribesman added.

Army official said since the start of operation,374 terrorists had been killed and 19 had surrendered.61 hideouts have been destroyed and 17 soldiers embraced martyrdom.

Gilgit-The massacre of 10 foreign climbers on the base camp of Killer Mountain Nanga Parbat came after a failed attempt to kidnap an American-Chinese and to use him to demand ransom or other to bargain.

The June 22 attack on the base camp of Nanga Parbat was the deadliest assault on the foreigners in the history of the country.

APC Demands resignation of Shahbaz Sharif over Model Town tragedy

Lahore-An All Party Conference headed Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri demanded resignation of Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif over Model Town tragedy.

In five point statement issued by APC,the participation parties demanded a full bench of Supreme Court to sit an investigate the incident,in which 14 people were killed and over 80 were injured.

Around 50 members of both political and religious parties were in attendance.

Attendees included PML Q Chief Chaudhary Pervaiz Illahi and Shujaat Hussain,PTI's vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi,MQM Rabta Committee Member Khalid Maqbool and Awami League Chief Sheikh Rasheed.

The PPP and ANP had informed Qadri in advance they would not attend the conference.

The PAT chief who announced APC on 26 June thanked all the members who attended and told that main subject to be discussed was Model Town tragedy.

MQM leader Khalid Maqbool said that if the responsible people were not brought to Justice history would never forget the Leaders.

Peshawar: Pakistan is trying to recover from the terrorism created in the country by outsiders and in order to remove terrorists, Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been started. Peshawar Plane Attack-Women Shot Dead

Peshawar-Police registered cases on unidentified men for the attack on passenger plane at the Peshawar Airport.

On June 24 gunmen had fired on Pakistan International Airline flight number PK-756 as it was landing on Bacha Khan International Airport,Peshawar,killing a women and injuring two crew members.The plane was carrying 178 people including the crew members and passengers,and was travelling from Riyadh,Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.

The deceased was identified as Mrs.Maknon(passenger),while the injured were Majid (passenger) and Ijaz (flight steward).  

Flight operation resumed at the airport after eleven hours of the incident .However three international flights were diverted to Islamabad from Peshawar.

More than 500 suspects were arrested so far in the ongoing search operation by the security  forces in the Budh area of the city as well as nearby.

The funeral prayer of the deceased was offered on wednesday in Hayatabad phase VI

and her body was taken to Nowshera for burial.

According to the Initial Report on the Incident,the PIA plane was hit ten times,however the pilot managed to land the plane safely on the runway three minutes after the attack.

A compensation package was announced for the victims of the attack .Family of the deceased woman will receive Rs 5 million and the injured would get Rs 2 million each.

Security has been increased on the Airport following the Attack.

Section 144 imposed in Rawalpindi prior to the Arrival of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri

Rawalpindi-As Rawalpindi prepares for the arrival Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Tahir ul Qadri ,section 144 of the code of criminal procedure was imposed in the city and public gatherings have been banned until 12pm on June 24.

Qadri is due to arrive at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on 23 June 8 am.

Pillion riding has been banned in the city and mobile services may be suspended in Islamabad and Rawalpindi tomorrow.

PAT leader Dr Raheeq Abbasi said that the imposition of section 144 will not stop PAT workers from receiving their leader at the airport.

"Our organisation team in Islamabad-Rawalpindi is co-ordinating with the district police officer (DPO) and DCO to make arrangements for Qadri's reception"Dr Abbasi said.

"We attempted to organise the reception in a manner that didn't trouble anyone"he said,adding that the police invited 12 of their workers last night under the ruse of finalising said arrangements and arrested them instead.

He claimed that over 500 party workers have been suspended from different parts of the country.

Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed also talked to media and said that the police was raiding the homes of PAT workers and arresting them."Whenever the government says that they will give a freehand in organising a protest ,it means they will create hindrances"Rasheed said,adding that he will give more details in the Press conference at Islamabad on 6pm.

PTI Punjab Chairman Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhary claimed that the government wishes to repeat the Model Town tragedy .He told express news that the two Sharif Brothers had a hand in creating trouble.

Strict security arrangements would be made in at and around Benzir Bhutto International Airport .Passenger vehicles will be banned from the airports and army troops would be deployed to avoid any unpleasant incident.Containers have been already placed around the airport as a security measure.Airport Road will be suspended on Monday and public transport to the airport will also be stopped.Two choppers will observe Qadri's arrival and 10000 personnel will be deployed from airport to Gujar Khan.

Copper & Gold project,Chinese sought Rs27B for Saindak Transfer

Quetta:The adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Finance,Mir Khalid Langov,has revealed that the Chinese Company MCC has demanded Rs 27 billion for transfer of Saindak project to the government of Balochistan.
The company argued that it had invested Rs 27 billion on exploration of copper and gold in Saindak which should be repaid to the company before the transfer of the project to the Balochistan Government.

The adviser said that the Balochistan government is unable to pay such a huge amount to the company ,as the provincial government has resource for this purpose.He said that in 10 years the provincial government is expected to earn Rs 10 billion merely from the project.
Langov said that the Federal government had promised during the autonomy talks for Balochistan and other provinces to allow 5 percent royalty from the project with 30 percent share in taxes and other fees.
He claimed that the Federal Government has failed to fulfil its promise to the due date,but the Balochistan Government is still hope full on the matter and Saindak Prokect.
He said the government in the next fiscal year would spend  Rs 4.5  billion on exploration of the mines and gold in 7km area of Reko Dik.
The amount is spent on Reko Dik as part of the Rs 12 billion package for promoting investment,he added.
He expressed concerns over failing revenues to Balochistan on natural gas ,claiming that the share of Balochistan on natural gas has fallen to 20 percent .
He defended the increase in salaries and allowances for the minsters ,saying that the total impact would be around Rs 325 million.'The purpose of salary increase is to minimise corruption'.
He said Rs 5 billion could not be used in the development programme during the current the fiscal year as allocation is non-lapsable.

The Main Story of Clash between Minhaj-ul-Quran and Police is out

Lahore: Yesterday there was disaster in Model town when the clash between police and the workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran were up against each other and the shameful act of police was observed by millions of people. There was a rumor that the district co-ordination officers were against the removal of barriers. The Provincial law Minister Rana Sana Ullah has done a press conference in which he has explained his actions.
There was a meeting in Lahore in which Rana Sana Ullah given orders to remove the barriers. The commissioner of Lahore was against the decision and gave the suggestion of not making the operation but the Provincial Law Minister was not listening to anybody. He said that this step is important in order to control the Awami Tahreek in Future.(Awami Tahreek is the party of Alama Tahir-ul-Qadri, the chairman of Minhaj-ul-Quran).
So on the orders of Rana Sana Ullah, the police went in the model town at mid night in order to remove the barriers and the real trouble begins. The students in the hostels ame out and stood up against police after which some policemen returned while some stayed there. It is said that the CM of Punjab was not aware of this incident till the last minute.
Then on tuesday morning, the DCO and DIG Lahore was on the spot with a great force of police to start the operation and give them students a lesson which they will never forget in their lives. In this lesson, 8 were killed and more then 80 were injured. Meanwhile, police said that one of the policemen is also martyred while according to the hospital reports, there is no dead body of a policeman which is shifted to any of the hospital in Lahore. The hospital reports also says that the injured ones are mainly wounded by the shots which were fired by police and reason of the death of the people was also the shots they received.
Another interesting thing which comes up along with this incident is that 4 years ago, the government itself putted the barriers in front of the secretariat in order to give it security. There was another thing going in the air that the local residents have complained against these barriers but a senior anchor named Sohail Warraich is living near by and he told that he is also a member of the committee which is made up to speak up for the rights of the people and there is no such complain received regarding the barriers.

Clash between Minhaj-ul-Quran workers and Police in front of Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat: 8 killed including 2 women

Lahore: A disaster happened in the area of model town Lahore as the Minhaj-ul-Quran workers and Police which leads to the deaths of 8 people including 2 women.The matter of removing barriers which were placed for the safety of the secretariat was to be removed by police while the workers do not allowed to do so. The police became furious and opened fire on the workers. 85 people were injured in this operation which turned out to be a calamity. The tear gas, stones and sticks were used against the workers and they were made suffer for their protest. There was amendment made in Section 46 and now police would not adopt any method to arrest criminals in which the criminal has danger of getting serious wounds or a danger of criminal arrest ending up in death of the criminal. Section 54 of forces is also amended and now at the time of arrest, the police has to tell the person what is charge on him and why he is being arrested. Muslim family ordinance of 1961 section 9 and 9 A is also being amended and the Parents who can't live on their own has given right to demand money from their children and if the children are not giving them, they can appeal in court legally!. The wife who is given divorce and children, the money which is being given to them should be increased on yearly basis. The 1855 fatal accident law is also amended and it is stated that the relatives of victim would be given the compensation money immediately and the case they file can only last for maximum 6 months.

California: It has been indicated by some old American papers that in January 1961, there were two bombs which were dropped in California at midnight. Modi condemns Karachi airport attack in his letter to Nawaz

Islamabad:Just a day after PM Nawaz sent a letter to his Indian counterpart,Modi has sent a prompt reply here on Friday.

In his letter the Indian PM condemned the brazen attack on the Karachi airport in which 37 people were killed including 10 terrorists.The all night battle with militants who had besieged the country's largest airport in the years.

PTI criticises Nawaz for 'wooing' Modi

Islamabad:The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has criticised the Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef for constantly approachin his new Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

Speaking to media on Thursday ,Shrieen Mazari said instead of focusing on deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan,Nawaz has been writing letters and sending gifts to Modi and his family.

Brasilia:Dilma Roussef the Brazilian president on Tuesday said that her country was ready to host the world cup in two days,rejecting criticism of delays,chaos and overspending in the tournaments preparations.

Roussef admitted that organising world cup was tough but told that 12 stadiums were ready and Brazil would welcome the foreign fans with 'open arm'.

"Brazil overcame the main challenges and is now ready on and off the field",she said in nationally televised address.

Construction of the stadiums  and transport infrastructure was plagued by delays and cost overrun that left Brazil with $11 billion bill.

Workers were seen racing to finish up the venue for the opening  games, Corinthians Arena,just last weekend.

Spending on tournament fuelled sometimes violent protests last year over rising public transport prices and demands for the government to spend on health and education instead.

The demonstrations have been smaller in recent month but there are chances of greater protests when Brazil plays Croatia in the opening game on Thursday.

PCB to increase salaries of lower cadre employes

Lahore:The Pakistan Cricket board has announced increment for 442 employees who didn't receive any pay hike during the last three years.

A committee consisting of Zaheer Abbass,Shakeel Sheikh and  Sajid Hameed propesed the increase.

The PCB chairman approved the recommendations and they will be in effect from July 1.

Under these recommendations about 232 regional employees will receive an increment of about 14 percent and other employees will receive about 10 percent of it.

About 85% of PCB staff receives less than Rs.50000 per month.

Karachi Airport Attacked by the Terrorists: Indian Arms found on their body. Is RAW invloved in it??

Karachi: Jinnah International Airport was under attack by the terrorists. Late night, terrorists broke into the airport and tried to take charge of the airport but unfortunately for them, they were unable to succeed. They opened fire and as the result, 14 people including 12 security officers and 2 civilians were killed in this furious incident. Security forces started operation which lasted for more than 5 hours and finally all the terrorists were killed and the airport was cleared.
The reports say that there were 10 terrorists fully armed with the modern weapons entered from the old terminal gate and reached inside the airport and opened fires. The Airport Security Force (ASF) tried to resist them. The units of Rangers, Pak Army, Special units, Elite force and Police arrived on time and took part in the operation which lasted for more than 5 hours. The terrorists attacked with the guns and hand gernades. In this operation, 8 ASF officers, 2 police officers and two rangers soldiers were martyred. On the other hand, all the terrorists were killed. There are hand gernades, guns, ammos and rocket launchers found near the dead bodies of the terrorists.  Two suicide bombing jackets are also found.

After the attack, emergency is declared in the hospitals and there is a great threat of attacks in the city. The airport has been cleared by the search operation and there is a probability that till the mid time of the day, the airport would be handed over to staff for daily routine flight operations. The flights are cancelled till 12 O'clock night.
