Recently "Melinda Gates", wife of Mr. Bill Gates, gave an interview to a journalist "Charlie Rose" in which she claimed that Bill Gates was paying all attention in establishing the IT and computing. He started paying attention towards the poor when he went to a hospital in Africa to see patients with TB. She said that Bill called her from the spot and he was half crying. In his tour of the hospital, he observed the bad condition of people. There was no one asking about their health and welfare. It was like someone has given them the death penalty. They will die lying there and no one will ask them about how they are feeling. This was the moment in the life of Bill Gates that turned his attention towards the poor people. This is when Bill promised himself that he will help these people from now onwards.

Furthermore, she also reported that the aim of Bill was to expand IT to all parts of the world. He soon realized that until unless he do not work on health and education of poor people, It is very important to armor these people with the weapon of education otherwise they will not know how to use latest technology. Therefore, "Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation" came into being.

These days, the foundation is spending millions of dollars regularly to help these people and to include them in this fast moving world.

Cristiano Ronaldo wins the official award of football player of the year for the second straight year! He won the Ballon d’Or on the Monday night leaving behind the star player of Argentina Lionel Messi and the well known German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. He received 37.66% votes while Lionel Messi got 15.76% leaving Manuel Neuer on third position with 15.72% votes. When his name was called by the legend Thierry Henry, he poured down his head and closed his eyes to hide the emotions and walked to the stage with a slight smile!

The Portages forward star player of football Cristiano Ronaldo who has been playing for the club of Real Madrid has won the award for the third time in his football career. In 2008, Ronaldo won the Ballon d’Or for the first time in his football career. After that, the icon of football, the star player who always had a tough competition with Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, who is playing for the Argintina National team and FC Barcelona, had won this from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, finally Cristiano Ronaldo succeeded in breaking the streak of Messi for Ballon d’Or award and won it for the second time in his career. Now on the Monday nicht, he received the award for the second straight year and for the third time in his lifetime!

The 29 years old Ronaldo was pretty happy after winning it for the second consecutive year and said that he has never thought of getting the trophy for the third time and receiving the honor of bringing it back to home. Moreover, he pointed towards his wish of becoming best football player ever. He also said that he will continue his hard work and try to be better and better each day.

The star player was very disappointing in the FIFA football world cup and his team, Portugal, was eliminated in the group stages. They suffered defeat from the hands of Germany and US. He only managed to score in a single match among the three group stage matches played by his team.

But the bad form was replaced by a blazing come back to his club and he helped his club in having many victories. The Pakistani people are taking this in both ways. Some agree that Imran Khan should marry someone and live a life while others disagree saying that Jemima has always been to Imran Khan so Imran must not consider any other woman at her place. Certain people living in Pakistan has expressed that no matter who ever comes and who eve goes, their first lady will always be Jemima.

Abdullah's rejection of Election result may lead to bloody Ethnic standoff

Kabul-Afghan presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah rejected the initial report on election results and called it a bloody coup against the people of Afghanistan.This statement may lead to a deadly situation in the country and could result in civil war.

The independent election commission on Monday reported that the Ashraf Ghani has won the second round of the elections that took place on June 14 by securing 56% of the votes while Abdullah secured 43% of the votes.

Abdullah's camp responded angrily and said that the results did not throw all the fraudulent votes."We don't support results that were announced today and we believe this is a coup against people of Afghanistan",said a spokesman for Abdullah's campaign.

In a sharp statement John Kerry from Washington said that all results should be reasonable and there is no space for violence and trouble.

"Any action to take power illegally will cost Afghanistan financial and security support from US and rest of the world",said John Kerry.

Son of a Pashtun father and a Tajik mother he draws most of his support from the Tajik minority in north and is capable of  gathering huge masses of people.

Amir Khan The Boxing Star is Arrested

Amir Khan was arrested on Friday morning for assaulting two teenagers in Bolton. The boxer allegedly attacked on those two teenagers leaving them behind with some minor injuries. Khan was later released on the bail till the end of this month. Khan was moving around with those two boys when he was taunted by them. He replied them in this way. A witness told that the Amir Khan was saying, "don't you know who i am? i am AK."

The victims are suffering from very minor injuries. One is at the cheek and the other is on the leg. Another witness of the incident reported that, "i heard a lot of noise in the car of Amir Khan until it stopped and then i saw him getting out of the car. Again when i looked there, there was a man on the floor when he drove off." 

Amir khan has been released on the bail as there are further inquires which have to be done yet. So no one can speak more on this matter till the time the investigation is not completed.

One year on,Nanga Parbat attackers wanted to kidnap a foreigner

Gilgit-The massacre of 10 foreign climbers on the base camp of Killer Mountain Nanga Parbat came after a failed attempt to kidnap an American-Chinese and to use him to demand ransom or other to bargain.

The June 22 attack on the base camp of Nanga Parbat was the deadliest assault on the foreigners in the history of the country.

The victims were identified as three Ukrainians,two Chinese including an American Chinese Chen Honglu,two Slovakians,one  Lithuanian and a Pakistani guide.

Copper & Gold project,Chinese sought Rs27B for Saindak Transfer

Quetta:The adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Finance,Mir Khalid Langov,has revealed that the Chinese Company MCC has demanded Rs 27 billion for transfer of Saindak project to the government of Balochistan.
The company argued that it had invested Rs 27 billion on exploration of copper and gold in Saindak which should be repaid to the company before the transfer of the project to the Balochistan Government.

The adviser said that the Balochistan government is unable to pay such a huge amount to the company ,as the provincial government has resource for this purpose.He said that in 10 years the provincial government is expected to earn Rs 10 billion merely from the project.
Langov said that the Federal government had promised during the autonomy talks for Balochistan and other provinces to allow 5 percent royalty from the project with 30 percent share in taxes and other fees.
He claimed that the Federal Government has failed to fulfil its promise to the due date,but the Balochistan Government is still hope full on the matter and Saindak Prokect.
He said the government in the next fiscal year would spend  Rs 4.5  billion on exploration of the mines and gold in 7km area of Reko Dik.
The amount is spent on Reko Dik as part of the Rs 12 billion package for promoting investment,he added.
He expressed concerns over failing revenues to Balochistan on natural gas ,claiming that the share of Balochistan on natural gas has fallen to 20 percent .
He defended the increase in salaries and allowances for the minsters ,saying that the total impact would be around Rs 325 million.'The purpose of salary increase is to minimise corruption'.
He said Rs 5 billion could not be used in the development programme during the current the fiscal year as allocation is non-lapsable.

Modi condemns Karachi airport attack in his letter to Nawaz

Islamabad:Just a day after PM Nawaz sent a letter to his Indian counterpart,Modi has sent a prompt reply here on Friday.

Brazil President defends worldcup,says country ready

Brasilia:Dilma Roussef the Brazilian president on Tuesday said that her country was ready to host the world cup in two days,rejecting criticism of delays,chaos and overspending in the tournaments preparations.

Roussef admitted that organising world cup was tough but told that 12 stadiums were ready and Brazil would welcome the foreign fans with 'open arm'.

"Brazil overcame the main challenges and is now ready on and off the field",she said in nationally televised address.

Construction of the stadiums  and transport infrastructure was plagued by delays and cost overrun that left Brazil with $11 billion bill.

Workers were seen racing to finish up the venue for the opening  games, Corinthians Arena,just last weekend.

Spending on tournament fuelled sometimes violent protests last year over rising public transport prices and demands for the government to spend on health and education instead.

The demonstrations have been smaller in recent month but there are chances of greater protests when Brazil plays Croatia in the opening game on Thursday.

"For any country organising the cup is like playing a game,sweating and often suffering,with the possibility of extra-time and penalties",Roussef said.

The Pilot of Air Force named Mike Gongal was travelling on a plane which took the flight from Des Moines to Denver when the pilot got a heart attack.
