Team Pakistan Squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is on and the long wait is about to end. The teams are announcing their squad for the cricket world cup 2015. The team of Pakistan has also announced the squad of 15 men who will be playing in the ICC world cup and will leave no stone unturned in making team Pakistan the one who lifts the cup. The Pakistani squad for world cup 2015 includes following players:

1.     Misbah-ul-Haq (Captain)

Misbah-ul-Haq has been the captain of team Pakistan Since some time and under his command this team has shown some really great performances. There are certain remarkable victories under this man and he is hoping to lead the Pakistani squad for world cup 2015

.
2.     Younis Khan

Younis Khan has been the man who was under controversies during the following period. The senior player was not selected for some tours in last year despite he was fit and ready to play. He reacted a lot to it and was finally made a part of the squad for the next tour. In next games against Australia and New Zealand, the middle order batsman showed great performances and is selected in the world cup squad of 2015.

3.     Ahmed Shehzad

The inform opener Ahmed Shehzad is once again in the squad and there was no chance of his being dropped. He has emerged as one of the best openers for team Pakistan and his firm batting style could help Pakistan in lifting the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

4.     Mohammad Hafeez

The professor has suffered recently from the ban and he is no longer available with the bowl for team Pakistan. Despite that Hafeez is not able to serve team Pakistan with the bowl he is included in the Pakistani squad for World cup 2015. Now probably he will be playing along with Ahmed Shehzad as the second opener or one down. In both cases, there is a huge burden at his shoulders.

5.     Haris Sohail

The youngster Haris Sohail is counted as the best middle order players found by team Pakistan in recent times. Not only he should good temperament with his bat but he was also good with the bowl when he was used to fulfill the place of Hafeez. Therefore he is counted among the all-rounders of team Pakistan playing the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

6.     Umer Akmal

Counted as one of the most God gifted players who has great technique of playing with the bat, Umer Akmal has not proved his ability to extreme extent. Still team Pakistan is looking forward to him. Maybe in this ICC world cup, Umer Akmal will utilize his skills. In last yours, he showed that he can score thus making his way in the Pakistani squad for World cup 2015.

7.     Sohaib Maqsood

When this young guy made his debut, he was compared with Inzimam-ul-Haq the former captain and power house of Pakistan. Inzi served as the backbone of Pakistani batting line up for a long time and the style of playing of Sohaib resembled a lot with him. He is looking forward to play the world cup of 2015, first ever world cup by him for team Pakistan. According to him, his mother has promised that “if Sohaib helps Pakistan in winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, she will let him marry whichever girl he wants.” So a lot is at the stake!

8.     Sarfaraz Ahmed (Wicket Keeper)

One of the most consistent players on pitch for Pakistan, Sarfaraz Ahmed has not only proved himself as a man worthy behind the wickets but also as a good batsman. He showed great form in past few time. It started when there was an experiment done and he was sent as an opener. Since then he had been great with the bat and he surely deserves a place in Pakistani squad for world cup 2015.

9.     Shahid Afridi

Playing his last ever world cup Shahid Khan Afridi has declared his retirement too. This will be the last world cup for him and he is looking to make it memorable. He is an all rounder with some amazing stats backing up his performances. If he is not good with bat, he does it with ball and when the ball does not work for him his blasting power throws it over the ropes. He was in and out of form and in past few series he has been seen coming back into action. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be last one for him and let’s hope for best!

10.                          Yasir Shah

After Saeed Ajmal was restricted from bowling, there was a lack in spinning attack of Pakistan. This was fulfilled by Yasir Shah, the young leg break bowler and Zulfiqar Babar, the experienced left arm off spinner. Yasir Shah has been selected as the one backing up team Pakistan’s spin attack. In the Pakistani squad for ICC world cup 2015, he is the only proper spinner along with Shahid Afridi (as Hafeez suffers from ban).

11.                        Junaid Khan

Junaid Khan is back into the squad of team Pakistan for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 after he has been out from the team because of Injury. He is the leading bowler for team Pakistan and usually starts the attack with new bowl. He has experience, pace, swing and can be the ideal one to start for team Pakistan in the 2015 cricket cup.

12.                        Mohammad Irfan

So the tall lad is finally cleared to play the world cup and is included in the Pakistani squad for ICC world cup 2015. When he delivers the bowl from the height of about 7 feet with good pace, he becomes very hard for batsmen to tackle with.

13.                        Wahab Riaz

Wahab is another quick bowler in the lineup for team Pakistan who is very much suitable when it comes to bowling quick and fast deliveries. He can bowl well and can deliver Yorkers at good pace. To be honest, sometimes he forgets his line and can be costly as well.

14.                        Sohail Khan

This is pretty much surprising when it comes to the Pakistani squad for ICC world cup 2015. He made his debut with team Pakistan several years ago and was out because of high competition in the field. The recent domestic season was good for him and couple of good matches before finalized selection made his way into the team.

15.                        Ehsan Adil

The youngest selection and enthusiastic fast bowler in the squad of Pakistan, Ehsan Adil is into the team of ICC world cup 2015. Now the matter of debate is either he will be the part of playing eleven? Will he get a chance to show his skills in the presence of senior players?

Cricket World Cup 2015

The cricket World cup 2015 is finally here and the long wait is almost over now. It is just about a month now till we can see the action in front of your eyes. The enthusiasm of crowd seems a lot more than the players. This event does not come on for a long time. There is about 4 year’s difference in a single world cup of cricket. Last time, the cricket world cup was held in Asian countries of Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. There was a great competition and a lot of teams were considered as very tough. The final battle of this cricket world cup 2011 was held in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai between two of the best Asian teams. Not only these teams proved themselves as best of Asian teams but these also emerged as best in the world.

Prior to the cricket world cup 2015, there was world cup of 2011. The final of 2011 worldcup was between Sri Lanka and India. The team of SL batted first and ended up setting the target of 275 runs in 50 overs in front of team India. At the home ground, with the swords of hope and pressure hanging on, the team of India played pretty well and ended up the world cup with a six wickets victory when there were 10 balls to be played. This is one of the remarkable victories world saw on the ground by the Indian team.

Now for the cricket world cup 2015, there are a lot of discussions going on. The teams are completely prepared on for the battle and there are a lot of rotations we are observing in the recent times. These are rotations in the national squads to determine the line up for the world cup 2015 which is being held in New Zealand and Australia. There are a lot of grounds to play on and a number of different challenges are there for both Batsmen and Bowlers. The teams and their strength will be discussed further in detail as it is hard to comment on any team.

Like the cricket world cup 2015 is being held in Australia and New Zealand, the 1992 world cup was also played in these countries. The ground for the final match is also same for the 1992 world cup and for 2015 world cup. Now the matter is that in 1992, the world cup was won by the team of Pakistan. Let’s see if the history can repeat itself and the team of Pakistan can win the world cup again. But it is not going to be easy at all. The competition has increased and there is a lot of raw talent. New bowlers with amazing deliveries, batsmen with astounding techniques and all rounders who can win the match single handedly by both their batting and bowling, everyone is around us. The teams are trying to pick best ones for the worldcup squad. The critics are stating that there is no team about which one can say surely that it will win cricket world cup 2015. The competition is tough and the spectators would be in for enormous action.
