Asian Teams Squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

All the 14 teams participating the world cup have revealed their squads, there have been many debated on whether who would have been included or excluded. The world cup is going to be a tough one for the Asian teams mostly due to the tough conditions of Australia and New Zealand.

• AFGHANISTAN

The world cup will be a very special one for Afghanistan cricket and the nation, as this will be Afghanistan's first appearance in the World Cup.

Bangladesh Cricket Boar named Mashrafe bin Mortaza the captain for the world cup, he will be assisted by Shakib al Hassan who will perform duties as Vice captain.
The biggest debate on the Bangladesh squad was the exclusion of experienced spinner Abdur Razzaq.
He could really have been a bowler Mashrafe Mortaza could trust.
The squad includes the experience of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim too, alongside the seniors there are new comers too, which includes Tajiul Islam, who had a dream debut against Zimbabwe at home and a Soumya Sarkar who is yet to play and International game.

India are the defending champions for of the mega event starting from 14 of next month. The side will be led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni who will have Virat Kholi as vice captain.
Before the squad was announced there had been alot of speculations about inclusion of Yuvraj Singh considering his recent Ranji Trophy Performances, but he was ignored and Stuart Binny was included as a surprise. The squad also includes Axar Patel and Ashwin as spinners.

Pakistan will be led by Misbah ul Haq, who will retire after the event. The squad includes experienced players like Shahid Afridi, Younas Khan and Mohammad Hafeez. It also includes Mohammad Irfan and for other pacers. Surprise inclusion was Sohail Khan who last played an ODI in 2011. Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmad Shehzad are the two openers.
In spite of good performance in recent Pentangular Cup Shoaib Malik was ignored. Sarfraz Ahmed was given preferance over Kamran Akmal and will also feature as a reserve opener.
Shahid Afridi and Yasir Shah are two leg Spinners.

1.     Misbah-ul-Haq (Captain)

2.     Younis Khan

Younis Khan has been the man who was under controversies during the following period. The senior player was not selected for some tours in last year despite he was fit and ready to play. 3.     Ahmed Shehzad

6.     Umer Akmal

Counted as one of the most God gifted players who has great technique of playing with the bat, Umer Akmal has not proved his ability to extreme extent. Still team Pakistan is looking forward to him. 7.     Sohaib Maqsood

When this young guy made his debut, he was compared with Inzimam-ul-Haq the former captain and power house of Pakistan. 8.     Sarfaraz Ahmed (Wicket Keeper)

One of the most consistent players on pitch for Pakistan, Sarfaraz Ahmed has not only proved himself as a man worthy behind the wickets but also as a good batsman. He showed great form in past few time. It started when there was an experiment done and he was sent as an opener. Since then he had been great with the bat and he surely deserves a place in Pakistani squad for world cup 2015.

9.     Shahid Afridi

Playing his last ever world cup Shahid Khan Afridi has declared his retirement too. This will be the last world cup for him and he is looking to make it memorable. He is an all rounder with some amazing stats backing up his performances. If he is not good with bat, he does it with ball and when the ball does not work for him his blasting power throws it over the ropes. 10.                          Yasir Shah

After Saeed Ajmal was restricted from bowling, there was a lack in spinning attack of Pakistan. This was fulfilled by Yasir Shah, the young leg break bowler and Zulfiqar Babar, the experienced left arm off spinner. Yasir Shah has been selected as the one backing up team Pakistan’s spin attack. 11.                        Junaid Khan

13.                        Wahab Riaz

14.                        Sohail Khan

He made his debut with team Pakistan several years ago and was out because of high competition in the field. The recent domestic season was good for him and couple of good matches before finalized selection made his way into the team.

15.                        Ehsan Adil
