Oh man!! what a great upset we had. Netherlands had beaten England once again by 45 runs. Second time in a world cup, Netherlands had beaten the England. First it was in the worldcup of 2009 and second time its today England vs Netherlands T20 Worldcup 31 March 2014 . Its a historical match. What a great game, superb effort by the Netherlands players. The England won the toss and decided to field first. Stuart Broad was looking hopeful that they will win this game. Though both teams were knocked out and this game was only to complete the formalities but both teams were looking to take it serious and work hard.
The Netherlands started batting in their style and as usual, the top order did well. The first three batsmen, Swart, Myburgh and Baressi scored in double figures but then the batting lne up toppled down and no one was able to carry on effectively so they finished off on 133/5 . Credit to the bowling of England, specially Bopara and Jordan as they bowled with a very low economy rate and got 2 most crucial wickets, one each.
It was looking pretty simple for the England and the audience were hoping that they will finish off the thing between 15 to 18 overs but the game of cricket is unpredictable and upsets can happen anytime.
