Afghan cricket players will train in Pakistan

The Pakistan will help Afghanistan team in the preparation of world cup 2015.The camp of Afghan team will begun on 15th April 2014. The former captains Rashid Latif and Amir Sohail will work with the batsmen and wicket-keepers to improve their skills and techniques.The coach Kabir Khan said" we have a full year of events starting with the Asian cricket council trophynext month and the excitement will reach the highest point with the worldcup and we have planned two weeks camp in Karachi from April 15th."
The Afghanistan team qualified for the world cup in October last year.In March 2014, the Afghan team took part in the Asia cup which was their first participation in any major ICC event. They beaten Bangladesh, the hosts in the Asia cup. They also took part in the league competition of the Worldcup T20 but unfortunately they were unable to qualify for the main groups.
The team of Afghanistan has got some good talent. They are equipped with a good pace attack along with a batting line up capable of scoring good runs. The only thing they need to learn is how to handle the pressure games and they go for the big hits most of the time which results in the loss of wickets. They have improved alot in the recent years and we hope that they will become a real strong team soon!

Sri Lanka getting ready to Host Pakistan in August

The Sri Lankan board is preparing to host Pakistan in August 2014. The possible matches are 2 tests and 3 ODIs. There are certain tour matches expected to be played too. The boards from both the sides have confirmed about the tour. Though the dates are not decided yet, the team of Pakistan is most likely to arrive Sri Lanka in late July.
This would be third tour for the Lankan Lions after the big win in the World Cup T20 2014. Before this series, the Lankan Lions would tour to England and then they will play a home series against the Protease (South Africa).
The team of Pakistan is facing a draaw back in the International fixtures. After T20 worldcup, there matches were scheduled in October against the Australian team in the neutral venue of UAE. This gap of 6 months was too much for the cricket fans and keeping this in view, the PCB has made a quick deal with the Sri Lankan board to reduce this gap to only 3 months as this would probably take place in the August.

Welcome back Sri Lankan team

The champs went back to their home after winning a really tough T20 worldcup of 2014. They went to homeland on 8th April 2014 and there was a great crowd recieving the champs on the road. The team went in an open bus to take a tour of the local areas and the streets were flooded with the Sri Lankan fans, showing their respect and love to their team. They were cheering and loving that moment and some of them were saying GOODBYE to the legends of cricket SANGAKARA and JAYAWERDENE as they both retired from the T20 international cricket. T20 worldcup Final 6 April 2014

So finally the Lankan dream comes true after 18 years. The fans of Sri Lanka waited for 18 years to see and feel this moment again. The Sri Lankan team defeated the Indian team in the T20 worldcup of 2014. The fierce match was observed by the cricket fans and the teams were upto the mark. The Sri Lanka played extremely well to make the last match of their two legends Mahela Jayawerdene and Kumar Sangakara a historical match.
The toss was won by Lasith Malinga who opted to bowl first and the Sri Lankan bowlers were upto the mark specially in daeth overs when they gave just 19 runs in last 4 overs that is something extraordinary in a T20 match and when it comes to the Worldcup final, the value increases more. The Indian team was restricted to the score of 130, tough Virat Kohli played well and scored 76 but even this was not handy in scoring too many runs.
The task was looking easy as the Lankans rushed into the ground for the chase and they chased it easily. The score was chased in 17th over. Indian team fought hard but the score was too low to be defended and team SL get to the target easily by the helpful 50 of Sangakara who was playing his last T20I match. Thisara Prera hitted the winning six and the members of team and management rushed in the ground to celebrate.
The SL was really pleased with the victory and Lasith mentioned that they won this worldcup for their nation, for Sangakara and Mahela to make their farewell best one. The lads will arrive home on 8th April 2014 and the fans are ready to welcome their CHAMPS!!

T20 Worldcup final 2014 India vs Sri Lanka

SO were are about to experience the T20 worldcup final of 2014 between Sri lanka and India. The teams are ready or the battles. Sri Lanka and India got a one day rest after playing a fierce battles of semi finals. They are working hard to take titles to their home.
The 1st semi final was played between Sri Lanka and West Indies. The battle continued and Sri Lanka gave the target of 167 to WI. Thanks to the quick 40+ of Angelo Mathews which helped SL to give that much big target. WI played steadily in the first overs and they were looking to continue the strategy of blasting in the last 5 to 7 overs but unfortunately heavy thunderstorm and rain interruppted the play and they lost the game by DL method. Bad luck for the WI team that they were unable to finish but even after losing, Sammy was looking calm and satisfied by the efforts of his playing eleven.
The Indian team played their semi finl against the  SA and that semi final was also a match of great entertainment. The SA team batted first and gave the target of 172 by the help of Miller and DUminy. Ashwin bowled superbly from the Indian side. The Indian team chased the target with the extremely well batting skills and Virat Kohli played a match snatching innings which helped team India to secure its win in the semi finals.
Both SL and Ind teams were favorite throughout the tournament and the final of T20 worldcup between India and Sri Lanka is hoped to be a fight creating. The FInal of T20 Worldcup between India and Sri Lanka will be played on 6 April 2014 at 13:00 GMT. So don't forget to watch the high flying and thrilling action of Sri Lanka vs India T20 Worldcup final 6 April 2014.
