The champs went back to their home after winning a really tough T20 worldcup of 2014. They went to homeland on 8th April 2014 and there was a great crowd recieving the champs on the road. The team went in an open bus to take a tour of the local areas and the streets were flooded with the Sri Lankan fans, showing their respect and love to their team. They were cheering and loving that moment and some of them were saying GOODBYE to the legends of cricket SANGAKARA and JAYAWERDENE as they both retired from the T20 international cricket.
