Former French President charged with corruption

Paris-Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been charged with corruption and influence peddling,French Prosecutors said on Wednesday.

The decision came after Sarkozy was questioned for 15 hours .It was the time that French ex-head was taking into custody
for criminal investigation.
The right wing leader was detained in a police station of Paris over a suspected attempt to illegally influence judicial proceedings .
After a lengthening questioning the ex-president was taken into a court in front of a judge where he was put under formal investigation was charged based on preliminary evidence.He was then released when investigation when ahead.
If proved guilty he could be charged for ten years.
