All the 14 teams participating the world cup have revealed their squads, there have been many debated on whether who would have been included or excluded. The world cup is going to be a tough one for the Asian teams mostly due to the tough conditions of Australia and New Zealand.

The world cup will be a very special one for Afghanistan cricket and the nation, as this will be Afghanistan's first appearance in the World Cup.

Bangladesh Cricket Boar named Mashrafe bin Mortaza the captain for the world cup, he will be assisted by Shakib al Hassan who will perform duties as Vice captain.
The biggest debate on the Bangladesh squad was the exclusion of experienced spinner Abdur Razzaq.
He could really have been a bowler Mashrafe Mortaza could trust.
The squad includes the experience of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim too, alongside the seniors there are new comers too, which includes Tajiul Islam, who had a dream debut against Zimbabwe at home and a Soumya Sarkar who is yet to play and International game.

Before the squad was announced there had been alot of speculations about inclusion of Yuvraj Singh considering his recent Ranji Trophy Performances, but he was ignored and Stuart Binny was included as a surprise. The squad also includes Axar Patel and Ashwin as spinners.

It also includes Mohammad Irfan and for other pacers. Surprise inclusion was Sohail Khan who last played an ODI in 2011. Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmad Shehzad are the two openers.
In spite of good performance in recent Pentangular Cup Shoaib Malik was ignored. Sarfraz Ahmed was given preferance over Kamran Akmal and will also feature as a reserve opener.
Shahid Afridi and Yasir Shah are two leg Spinners.
